Swedish Meatballs
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 small onion
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 t. salt
- 1/2 t. pepper
- 2 T Worcestershire sauce
- 2 T. butter
- 2 T. flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Saute onion in a little butter. Then combine onion, beef, bread crumbs, salt and pepper, and egg. Mix 3/4 cup of the milk with the worcestershire sauce and combine with meat mixture. Sahpe into small meatballs, then brown in butter in skillet. Drain meatballs on a paper towel. Add flour to drippings and brown, then slowly add the remaining 1/4 cup of milk and sour cream. Add meatballs and heat through. Goes well over rice or noodles.
