Designedin conjunction with Australia’s leading female rowers, our design team have spent the last year listening, testing, refining, and creating the most comfortable, high performance womens rowing suit on the planet. The devil is in the detail, constructed entirely from Italian fabrics, utilising patterns developed by women, for women, with millimetre perfect construction.
As rowers we were excited to finally apply our years of experience in technical performance apparel and fabrics to the world of rowing. As a design team we are smart enough to know not to tell women what they should wear or to pretend that we understand what makes womens rowing suits comfortable? The first step was to enlist the help of some of the best female rowers in the country, both from a design perspective and from a testing perspective to create womens specific patterns.
Improving comfort, cut, leg length, seam placement and identifying the premium fabrics that would aid in maximising on water performance and comfort levels, were key to creating the perfect rowing suit. Having clocked thousands of kilometres on the water, testing countless samples, we have taken on board lots of honest feedback, plus had a few arguments around leg length and materials. The collective result is the all new Volare women’s performance rowing suit.
